Our two heated glamping pods are new for 2018, situated in a prime riverside location on the banks of the river Tryweryn. More spacious than your average pod and uniquely styled, they are perfect for campers who don’t want the hassle of putting up a tent.
The pods come with electricity, lighting and heating, so they will be cosy whatever the weather conditions. With free WiFi, domestic plug sockets and USB charging points, you’ll be able to stay connected.
The pods are large, with ample room for two adults and two kids. Furnished with a double sofa bed and two single beds, they are ideal for a glamping trip to North Wales for families, couples or up to three friends.
There is a covered porch area for sheltered cooking and a picnic table for dining alfresco, with views of the white water and the occasional passing raft or kayak.
We do not supply bedding or cooking equipment so please remember to bring your own.
Barbecues are encouraged if you would like to bring one, but for safety reasons we do not allow campfires in this part of the campsite.
Check in time is from 3pm, check out before 11am.
We are sorry but we cannot accept dogs in our riverside pods. Smoking is not allowed inside the pods, thank you for your understanding.
Double sofa bed and mattress
Two single beds and mattresses
Small interior tables
A large outdoor picnic bench
A sheltered cooking surface under the porch
There are several domestic plug sockets and USB charging points powered by a 16A supply.
The pod is well lit inside and there is an outdoor light in the porch.
There are places to eat at locally, including two cafes each a short walk away, but we’d suggest bringing camping cooking equipment and/or a barbecue to enjoy those outdoor meals beside the river.
We have a small shop on site selling camping essentials and charcoal but it would be worth stocking up on food from one of local shops in Bala. There is a fridge and freezer for the use of guests on the campsite.
Bring a torch! We are in a dark sky reserve, which means it’s amazing for star gazing but it can get dark around the campsite at night time.
There’s a two night minimum stay which may be longer in bank holidays and other peak periods
